Brittany has always had a passion for events and all things pretty - her 16th birthday present was a Martha Stewart Weddings subscription. After graduation from Sonoma State University, Brittany took an internship at an event planning company in San Francisco, where her desire to start her own event company was first realized. Brittany then furthered her hospitality and events career at five star resort Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley, and then at Kenwood Inn & Spa in Sonoma. After the birth of her first child, Griffin Reed, Brittany decided to follow her dream of event planning and joined the team at A Savvy Event. Following the birth of her second child, Evelyn James, the desire to start her own company was something she could no longer ignore and decided to start Reed + James Events alongside her husband, Scott.

Brittany aims to bring a natural, elegant beauty to each event she curates. Drawn to the juxtaposition between feminine and masculine, she strives to balance the two in design, allowing for wonderfully unique, romantic, beautiful events.
